Our expertise in cold-formed steel framing spans more than 20 years, having built more than 10 million square feet of mid-rise work and over 10,000 steel framed homes.
The Worthington Construction Group framing methodology uses one structural system and one sub-contractor, costing far less than traditional systems that require structural concrete and structural steel, while adhering to strict IBC and IRC codes.
Our sheet steel shear wall system eliminates the need to stabilize the building with concrete shafts. As a result, the building’s framing is lightweight and flexible, translating into a significant reduction in foundation costs. It’s the most ductile framing system available, which can be especially beneficial in areas prone to earthquakes.
Our system also paves the way for MEP trades to work more efficiently. The framing itself is designed for easy installation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing lines. And our ability to progress quickly from floor to floor allows the trades to work through the building without delay.
