RESIDENTIAL MID-RISE CONSTRUCTION IN CHINA
The Worthington Modern Steel Framing Manufacturing Company is a joint venture between Worthington and Hubei Modern Urban Construction & Development Group (MNUCG) and will operate out of a facility that is being constructed in the Hubei region in the city of Xiantao.
Utilizing the W-IBS system, the company will manufacture light gauge steel studs and design, engineer and erect light gauge steel-framed residential mid-rise buildings as well as supply curtainwall and interior framing solutions for commercial buildings.
Partner company HMUCG is a premier construction and real-estate development firm located in Hubei, China. In conjunction with the Balloch Group of Canada, HMUCG is developing the Modern Sino Canada Science and Technology city in one of the eight ring cities of Wuhan. The W-IBS system will be used to build the residential mid-rise buildings of the city.
