The LEVELROCK® line of self-leveling poured floor underlayments includes gypsum, engineered cements and acoustic components, for floors that satisfy even the strictest specifications for fire and sound ratings. And the quick-drying applications we use help keep the project moving forward on schedule.
Worthington Integrated Building Systems uses LEVELROCK® products that provide 1- and 2-hour fire-resistance ratings for wood-framed floor/ceiling assemblies, and up to 4-hour ratings for precast concrete assemblies. Fire testing by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) is conducted in compliance with ASTM E119 (Test Methods for Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials).
The excellent sound isolation properties of LEVELROCK® floor underlayment systems provide an affordable acoustical solution that can significantly improve the privacy and comfort of any space. We design assemblies that balance acoustic separation and fire protection to prevent owner and builder liability. Insulation thickness, placement in the cavity, and resilient channel spacing must all conform to the limits specified in the UL design.
